We believe in the potential of every young person – even when they don’t believe in it themselves. We know they are capable of great things.
By changing lives through boxing, we help these young people develop their physical and mental health, to build their resilience and self-esteem. We want to see these young people grow the confidence they need to go after their dreams and live their lives to the full.
With your support, we can reach even more young people who really need someone fighting in their corner. Will you help show a young person there is another way?
We will work with local & surrounding schools to help students develop skills to thrive in and out of the classroom
Our Alternative Education Provision (AEP) program is for schools and is designed specifically for young people who find mainstream education challenging. We help these young people re-engage with education. We equip them with strategies to deal with emotional-based school avoidance and anxiety, so they can return to the classroom securely with the skills they need to succeed.
The 12-week program is a blend of physical activity and therapeutic time. Students can also work towards a Boxercise award. Our sessions build confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and address negative behaviors. They are tailored to enable students to develop their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

At Dominguezboxingclub for example, through our boxing program they will use boxing as a tool to reduce social isolation by building the quantity and quality of youth relationships, strengthening their sense of belonging and improving mental health, resilience, fitness and motivation.
It’s about building confidence and relationships; it’s a safe place they can come and have people to talk to and build those social connections that will continue outside of the gym. We are looking for community of support. It gives them trust in humanity and in themselves.
Dominguezboxingclub is looking forward to support juveniles going forward by showcasing their work and helping them to forge further fruitful connections with potential partners in our network
The fantastic work of Boxing Futures is yet another example of the power of boxing to help young people caught up in crime “By building effective programs around the juveniles, our special tool of the sport to meet individuals’ needs, they are creating more resilient, and connected, positive and motivated young people whose horizons and previous criminal lifestyles will be radically altered.
